Still loving the Xavier-Yvonne interactions, and those Pokémon-owner pairs are working out so great! xD I’m loving that Froakie! Is that a girl or do all cute Pokémon get eyelashes for the cute factor?
And I feel so vindicated that I was right to think “Jiraiya” wasn’t after the Naruto character but after the mythology… (well, the Naruto character is named like that after the mythology, but)
Whenever I see Jiraiya I think Persona 4
But then again I’ve never watched Naruto (and never plan to)
That’s what the Jiraiya in P4 was based off of, anyway. All of the IT’s personas were based off of Japanese mythology (except rise, I think)
Rise’s Persona Himiko is after a glorified historical queen (since Japanese mythology likes to turn real historical figures into religious deities); so yeah Rise’s Persona is still a Japanese myth
Naruto is so last week. Funny when you realize that Naurto did end not too long ago and the fanbase blew up in tears and Naruto is still not dead.
