nah, dw Graham is right, Honedge drain life force from the blue cloth, the pokédex entry also states that the blue gem(?) is the true body of a Honedge! (well, according to the galar pokédex entries anyway) there’s also a entry in the X and Sword versions that mentioned that their possessed by spirits, X mentions the said spirit inhibits the sword while Sword says that the spirit in the sword died by the very sword they currently inhibit a long time ago! ^^

You probably shouldn’t have copied the Honedge with the hands attached to them. Dexio looks like he just broke his wrist.
Dexio is more dextrous than Sina, so he’s holding it in reverse grip when coming out of the bushes and switches to normal grip off-panel during the congratulations.
