I think legally she’s his daughter, but she calls him grandpa because he’s just so old.
Just like Thundhurrus says, in fact isn’t so weird that something like that happen even if she wasn’t adopted. Thanks to the fact that he looks old he ends being called grandpa.

I like how Black is all freaked out in the previous part, but then he just calmly adds that he ate his Pokemon. Well, maybe not calmly, but calmer than before.
It looks like he’s questioning why he ate the pokemon in the first place.
And that’s when N says the dream was awful. The bloody Iris Cloyster didn’t upset him but the death of an innocent Psyduck did.
I’d just like to point out that I love Iris’ hair here.
