I’m thinking Ghetsis attacked Kyurem, got the crap beaten out of him for it, and lied to N to explain it. Though I’m undecided on whether or not Kyurem ate the Pokemon.
Kyurem sounds perfectly reasonable, considering Ghetsis’ position and actions and N’s misguided beliefs.
On a different note, this episode can be called a clash between cultures. Hachiku’s culture dictate that duels be to the death and must remain one on one, while in Black’s culture people group together to take down powerful enemies, honor be damned and shared. At this rate though, I feel bad for Hachiku.
I also wish to say, despite being a lot late on the post, that I sympathize with Joseph. While he’s not more deserving of the glitch abilities I feel that he would use them much better, but would give Mary enough space to shine as well, unlike this situation where Mary is hogging all the attention and Joseph can barely say anything about it.
Mary isn’t doing anything to intentionally take attention from Joseph. He’s the one who stands on the sidelines brooding all the time. And she does share with him. He just excludes himself.
Possibly just my shippy mind speaking, but I got the impression he was WORRIED that she was attracting so much attention — she gets put into more danger, not to mention the entire Ghetsis creepiness thing. You don’t really want Ghetsis’ attention.

It would be interesting, though, if Ghetsis’ original goal really was a better place for Pokemon and such, but then he got beaten up by Kyurem and became bitter and decided instead to rule Pokemon and everything. It’d make his background more interesting, at least.

It is Kamiya Hiroshi — who will be known by some readers here as the seiyuu for Izaya. (And incidentally, Elesa is voiced by Celty’s seiyuu in this trailer (not the case in the anime (though in the anime Cilan shares Kida’s seiyuu (closing parentheses now)))) Many Durarara!! people in Pokémon BW.

Just noticed the CHALLENGE ACCEPTED in Author!Black’s little note. Author!Black reads rage comics. I am now convinced that she is a 100x better version of me, with a heck of alot more talent and imagination.
You know, I feel like Author!Black-dono is thinking about whether or not to turn Ghetsis into either his canon portrayal, or the person that N sees him to be here.
Idk… after seeing him holding Hitler’s SEVERED HEAD in his palm a while back, my mind will always have him portrayed as the psychotic snuggie dictator… anything else just feels like a ploy to fool people into trusting him (like N).
