You’re right. There is some black stuff in the center of the blood.
But that could also be from their swords; since they’re *NEW* and *IMPROVED* they might have other powers we don’t know about, so it could also mean Joseph’s sword is doing some weird crap like making the wound unable to stop bleeding or negate the effect of Joy’s Heal Pulse.
… Though, I believe it’s MissingNo too. haha

That’s what you get for not using that shield properly, Black. BTW, Artist!Black, do you know how shields work? You don’t hold them like that (usually), one strap goes over your arm near the elbow and you the other strap (if there is one, usually there’s a handle) will go over your wrist, or you grab the handle. The shield basically goes over your forearm. Although maybe MISSINGNO doesn’t know this…
Oh, derp. I just saw in the last panel he’s actually holding it right. Ignore this comment, if you will; it just looked like he wasn’t holding it right before, and I wanted to point that out in case Black will be using his shield again. Sorry.
