Obviously Cheren’s glasses consumes all his strength. Buuut, if he ever needs to fight without Pokemon, his glasses can fire lasers!
I always pictured Cheren being Austrian. Not sure why. But he kind of looks like Austria from Hetalia. But since Cheren has glasses, he has no physical strength so maybe Bel isn’t strong at all. He’s just weak.
