This ends the first update of XYVENTURES
I don’t have an actual update schedule, but I’m aiming for shorter but more frequent updates than the last comic.
I’ll pay more mind to the comments section;; Anything goes in Unrelated, but don’t try to start shit otherwise.
I don’t think it’s easy to tell where this comic is going yet, but there’ll still be magical girl battles, gratuitous violence, homos, and parodies because that’s how I roll. I’d also like to include contests and interviews that the readers can take part in, but that’s much later, so more info on that when we get there!

I already love everything about this comic. Calem (is it Calem or Xavier here? Or something else?) and Ruby are both goddamn pretty and I ship the hell out of it already. Also, Calem and Serena’s first meeting in this strip had me in stitches. SOMEBODY’S GONNA HAVE TO GO HOME AND CHAAAAAAAANGE and while Calem wears it better imo I am so not against him changing into a magical girl XD

artist!black (are we calling you that anymore? are you artist!xavier now?), I’m liking how this is going but one of the things I liked the most about the original black adventures was how the first comics were decided by random internet people, and complete randomness ensued, which somehow lead up to the awesome finale. It’s cool if you’re trying something new now, but I want to suggest that you do something at least like those fennel/prof. juniper dreams! thanks for this new webcomic!
Considering the site is still called “Black Adventures Comic” I imagine she’s still author!/artist!black.
This comic won’t have dubs decides or anything like that. I’ll explain interviews (asking the characters questions) later, which is something readers take part in :v

Time for some baseless speculation!
I’m going to guess that the characters will be the opposite of their Black Adventures counterparts. Xavier will be different from Black in that he will do everything he can to travel with Ruby, he will be the one initiating magical girl transformations (probably via mega evolution or something). Ruby, being opposite of N, won’t care for him and reluctantly travels with him to deal with team flare or something. Yvonne being the opposite of white will eventually fall madly in love with Xavier, but being gay, he will be completely indifferent about her.
Also Artist!Black, are all the episodes of this comic going to be full color too?
I dunno, Yvonne’s giving me the lesbian vibe, considering her blushing while talking about Diantha.

Pity, I actually liked derp style. Oh well, this style works too, and I can see the reasoning for the style change.
