  2. serperior says:

    I love Apple so much

  3. VRCalamity says:

Breaking the ball kills the pokemon inside?

    The more you know~

  4. PedoBeartic says:

  5. Lala says:

    Adam just stands there…
And this is the first time I caught the update! Yay!

  6. iorde says:

I thought breaking the ball would release the pokemon like Brock’s ninetales.

    This theory is cool, though.
    Yay for artistic liberties

    • Hermia_Lucaria says:

If the ball is completely smashed, with Pokemon inside, that Pokemon probably experiences something similar to death by cave in. If released prior (blue light), then it’s just a broken ball.

  7. Snivy says:

Well then. This was an interesting turn of events. Poor N. XD

  8. JollyPiplups says:

    I thought Pokeballs were indestructable

  9. Haela says:

    The suspense is killing me.

  10. MrMissMrs Random says:

    Man Eve is a meany.

  11. mountainmew says:

I would like a PowerPoint on Pokeball safety.

  12. not-zekrom says:

when i was a kid my pokeball fell off my pocket and broke….
man i feel so bad T_T….

  13. Semi-Demi-Fiend says:

On the subject of pokeball breakage
In the anime: the pokemon get’s released.
In the manga: I’t trapped until;ll the ball gets fixed
So since this operates on game logic it makes some sense that it just gets deleted or something.

    • Rory says:

o_0 When did that happen in the manga?

      • Azalee says:

A few times (I think during a Red VS Gio fight?), but it’s usually just the button of the opening system that gets broken, not the entire ball getting crushed into pieces. I can’t imagine anything *else* would happen in those cases than the Pokémon inside dying. In the anime, they’re never inside the ball when it happens, right? (I only remember one occurrence, and releasing the ‘mon was the intent.)

        • Rory says:

I barely remember that fight; looks like its time to reread the series for the billionth time.

I always figured if the ball breaks it would just release the Pokemon. I picture Pokemon inside their balls as, like, shapeless collections of energy or data rather than physical beings. :/ But of course, that’s just my opinion.

        • Thundhurrus says:

But said energy/data would be kept in check by the ball itself, so if you break it the energy/data would either dissipate or be lost forever, effectively killing the Pokemon that had been converted into energy/data.

  14. Azalee says:

Oh my god all the worldbuilding and the arguments and
Cedric, you geek, Apple, you keep being baffling, Sage-whose-name-I-forgot-I-can’t-keep-track-of-youse-except-Zinzolin, you surprisingly lucid person, Eve, you secretly actual bitch. 80

  15. hikahsu says:

Well guys, she has a point there.

    Woops.

  16. Charmander says:

    Eve’s ride is a dragon type…essentially, a serpent.

  17. Guydevoir says:

If it breaks, the Pokemon dies?!
Well, at least it has Internet access!

  18. amalie says:

    I just realized something.
    >Eve and Mary
    >Ib can be pronounced as “Eve”
    >Ib and Mary
    >Both Mary’s are slightly psychotic
    I dunno if it’s just coincidence :|

  19. May White says:

Weren’t Adam and Eve destroying a whole team of pokémon just a few chapters ago? It didn’t even show the pokémon inside being released, they just took the pokéballs and dumped them in a puddle.

And Eve is saying that the trainers don’t care when their pokéballs are dropped?

  20. pookie says:

eve looks hawt on dat drawgon
