lol. I can never read ‘AHH AHH AHH AHH’ as crying the first time through. I always read it as autistic screaming, or a little kid screaming in rage.
I read it as PTSD nervous breakdown screaming.
I just read it as several short frightened screams, sort of like if a bunch of spiders jumped on someone or they found an ant the size of their finger on the handle of their toothbrush.
More like when you close a door on your index finger, I thought.
I read it as relieved laughter-combined-with-crying.
(Serena cries like “WAAA-A-HAAA-A-HAAA.”)
I read it like crying because that’s kind of how I sound when I cry.

The screaming that happens during an aspie meltdown. I was going to type ‘asperic screaming’ but asperic is not a word, so I used autistic instead for the sake of pleasing my spellchecker. Asperger’s is still part of the Autism spectrum, I think, so technically I just wasn’t specific enough? ^^;

Sorry, Kyu-chan, the gang referred to Kyurem as a “he” in previous updates, I think. But it could totally be a girl, they’re not really in any place to know… (Personally I’m just going with “it” since it’s technically sex/genderless in-game.)
But if it, or ANY genderless Pokemon, have no gender in a world of Pokemon that HAVE genders, then shouldn’t they be able to pick what gender that they are, or feel most like?
They don’t get to pick a gender, they are called either “masculine” or “feminine” according to which gender they are closer to.
Oh man let’s turn this page into a huge educational page about gender.

I can’t believe a girl who writes responses to Wallbangers and such on TV Tropes would forget that Cheren taught Joy Psychic in Chapter 21.
When Cheren had to help Black go through the Litwick-infested tower and fixed up Joy’s terrible Normal-only movepool with some TMs.
So once again, Cheren saved the day.

I don’t get it, Audinos are normal typed.
I understand there is a big gaping hole in the punchline, but the joke also references the big gaping hole in Joy.

This is truly a very enjoyable comic. It has laughs, action moments, amazing, transformations, and a great plot that goes more in depth then the game itself. I truly am starting to love Kyurem though out of all the characters. Even game wise this pokemon is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. I love how the creator of this comic has managed to bring this out in it in this comic. He appears to work only for himself yet he goes out of his way to attempt to show N that what his father is saying is not entirely true and to try to help him see that his father’s actions are not as good willed as they first appear.
Leave it to Usagi-Black to cry at the worst possible moments.
