But boys can wear kimonos, and Cheren is just wearing a martial arts uniform.
Boys and girls have different kimono, both of which are often distinct from martial arts uniforms by their lack of armor or their not being a Gi.
Cheren is wearing a man’s kimono, while Black and N are wearing women’s kimono. You can tell by the Obi.
Thundhurrus is correct. Cheren is also wearing a hakama, which is not exclusively for martial arts.
