I don’t mind mountain_mew (cause it’s a clever name and (s)he isn’t standoffish against Mew) or Shiny Rayquaza (’cause he hardly even comments anyway, and for the same reason) but adding the word “shiny” feels like cheating… unless is a regular pokemon like, say, Blaziken.

What’s the point in making a big deal out of names so long as they aren’t exact copies? Does it really matter? It’s just a name.

As I’ve already said, I’m just extremely picky about when and what I post. By no means dead, and obviously not at all active. (post wise anyways, I check this site for updates as often as I can and read over the comments every time )
Regarding my name, I’ll be honest and say that I am far too lazy to keep tabs on which pokemon have been ‘taken’ and which haven’t. Therefore I began posting without noticing the ‘original’ rayquaza.
Further demonstration of my laziness can be found by seeing how I didn’t bother to check for another pokemon….but instead added the word ‘shiny’ in order to keep peace.
If the addition of the word ‘shiny’ in front of my name continues to bother the original rayquaza, then I will gladly change it to something else….whatever that may be.
I honestly don’t see what the problem is though:
1) You can tell us apart by looking at the avatar
2) You can count how many times I’ve posted with one hand
3) I’m not out looking to troll on anyone
The problem is that there’s only 1 Rayquaza in existence, and that’s Rayquaza. And also that Shiny Legendaries (minus heatrans and latis) do not exist. And if we let one Ditto copy a legendary, we have to let them ALL copy legendaries. Which is bad.
It’s a matter of principle. The principle being if we didn’t weed out the Dittos then we’d have NOTHING BUT Legendaries. Which isn’t healthy.
eeeeh….I hate to be the one to point this out, but pokemon aren’t real. There are no legendaries in existance anywhere. Anyone can call themselves whatever they want, this is the internet. Don’t use screen names as an excuse to argue with people.
Technically, all legendaries have a chance of being shiny with the exception of Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, and Zekrom.
Those games =/= truth of pokelife. Being shiny is only actuallyble by the legendaries with a capability to breed (Mews though incredibly rare because they’re almost extinct as a race, Heatrans, and the Latis), which is very rare.
Also being shiny can just be a temporary skin condition, like being sunburnt, which can make us legendaries look shiny.But it usually is a ditto.

1)they’re just trolling you, so relax. Have fun, make a variant of the name, and don’t take things so personally.
2)There can’t be “only one” of a legendary if every person who owns a game or goes to an event can get one.

But I saw some Polynesian fire dancers at my college recently, and immediately thought of him. One even looked like him, haha.
Anyway, whatever he is, he looks mixed race to me. His skin is significantly lighter than Lenora’s, and his eyes are green :u

And my answer would be:
I noticed that Sirs Black and N appeared more dark/pink in the third to last panel, but it could be that Mr. Black is simply illustrating that they’ve ‘changed skin colour’ over summer, thus making it difficult for Mary to distinguish them.
I think, after the sunburn incident, Mr. N would be more cautious about sunblock and Mr. Black would have been tanned enough already that you wouldn’t notice a big difference.
But, that’s just my opinion.

I keep seeing some weird inconsistencies in the lineart, like the hair is blurry but the face and bodies are clear. Are you resizing parts or something ? I don’t know if it’s intentional or not. Minor thing, it just messes with my eyes/I forget what I just read.
