I just wanna say, the contrast between Lenora — a big black brickhouse-of-a-woman with a crazy huge blue puffy-hairdo — and her husband, Hawes — some scrawny pale white guy with glasses and short, straight brunette hair — is really…I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s interesting, I guess.
Not in a bad or racist way, but more of an “opposites attract” kind of way. Although I know that outer appearance isn’t what it comes down to in the end.
